Hello!

Exercise tips for pregnancy? I am 27 weeks pregnant and have to be careful with previous pregnancy complications, first pregnant – placenta Previa, second pregnancy – short cervix. Luckily at this point in time I haven’t had any complications with this pregnancy and was wondering what ideas you can give me?

  • Swimming. It makes you feel so light! Although you do feel heavier when you are getting out of the pool!

  • I would be taking it easy, purely because of previous issues. What did you used to do for exercise prior to pregnancy? That’s often a goid guide for what you can still be doing whilst pregnant, just scale it down a bit

  • I would just stick to gentle walks.

  • Stretching my legs and arms in the morning has been helping

  • I would chat with your Dr first and find out what he/she recommends. You don’t want to do anything to risk your pregnancy

  • walking is great. if you didn’t do the exercise before pregnancy, don’t start now.

  • Walking is a good form of exercise and it is such a lovely time of the year to get out and do some walking too.

  • I always walked everywhere didn’t have a licence found walking a good exercise.

  • Yeah I like walking, walking I will do :)

  • Just keep active,I didn’t have a car,had to walk,does you wonders.

  • I would suggest finding a personal instructor who is actually trained for maternity physical fitness. I attend mums and bubs fitness classes twice a week and my instructor is also trained in maternity fitness and post baby care fitness so she is great for all those things.
