Hello!

I have started to feel a cold coming on, and someone suggested I try Olive Leaf Extract. Do other mums use it? Does it actually work? Thanks

  • I have heard of a few people using it so l would give it a go!

  • My brother does and swears by it. It helps with his hayfever too. Mum tried it this Winter and has not had a bad cold or flu.

  • I have heard its fantastic!

  • I use it! Works a treat :) good for kids too. Husband doesn’t like the taste but admits it does work :)

  • I have never heard of it, but I do know a lot of garlic and vitamin c in your diet will help with this

  • Olive Leaf Extract has been around for a few years.I take to boost my immune system.A friend has been using it for a few years and tells me that she never gets a cold.

  • I have tried this but I drink stacks of water and eat raw capsicum as it has a lot of vitamins

  • I haven’t tried Olive Leaf extract, but as soon as the weather starts getting cooler, I take a couple of Odourless Garlic capsules every day, right through until Summer. And I take an extra couple daily on the rare occasion that I do get a cold or sore throat. You don’t taste the garlic, there’s no smell, and while it won’t prevent catching a cold or flu, it really boosts the immune system, and decreases any symptoms of colds & flus. If you get a runny nose, cold or flu, try and keep away from dairy products, because they can affect the amount of mucous production.

  • I usually put a little bit of eucalyptus oil in the burner with a melt. Cleans and purifies the air.

  • I would give it a try – its good!

  • We`ve been using OLE on and off for about the last year, at the moment coming into Winter my Husband and I try to remember to have it daily, with my sons I gave it to them continuously last year throughout Winter all we got were a couple of little sniffles at the moment if my sons come home with a cold I give it to them then, once Winter comes I`ll probably start giving it to them daily again.

We have OLE along with daily probiotics and our multi vitamin.

  • This is not a common practice, I have never heard of this.

  • Never heard of this either, I use lemon juice in hot water.

  • Never heard of this before, I have always used fresh lemon drops in black tea with honey.

  • This is the 1st time I’ve heard about it. Keen to read more about other people’s experiences too.

  • It is the way to go, more people should use it regularly.

  • We always make the kids take olive leaf extract and vitamin c whenever they are sick. We believe it works.

  • I have not used olive leaf extract for a cold. BUT I have tried a Tablespoon of cinnamon and honey warm in microwave and eat for three days in a row……Got my daughter to try who was coming down with a cold and did her wonders……Works a treat……

  • I tried it a few years ago and it didn’t really do anything short term. It’s one of those things you need to use all the time and I just couldn’t afford to. I think a balanced diet and avoiding to many processed and chemical laden foods is the best and cheapest way to stay healthy.

  • I have never heard of this cure, however I use lots of lemon and oranges for vitamin c.
