  • Definitely. As long as whatever you eat is cooked properly and kept in the right temperature range you will be absolutely fine. The only things I didn’t eat during pregnancy was anything that made me throw up really. I don’t eat anything raw or sushi so I didn’t worry too much.

  • Yes. Just be absolutely certain they’re cooked through and you should be fine.

  • Yes! As long as they’re heated properly it’s totally fine :)

  • Absolutely!! Frozen is better than fresh sometimes especially for things like bacteria that could be present. As you said as long as it’s heated to over 60°c it’s safe to eat.

  • Yes they are considered safe.

  • Don’t think there overally healthy but i had them when i was preg.

  • Frozen foods are fine so long as they’re handled properly and cooked thoroughly.

  • Nutrition and food information should be available from medical specialists.

  • Health care professionals should be able to provide information on food and nutrition.

  • I avoided processed foods during pregnancy and kept meals simple and plain to keep everything down! All food should be stored, prepared and cooked according to guidelines. If ever in doubt invest in some good guides and books about nutrition during pregnancy. The local library should have a wealth of good books on this topic.

  • I think it’s fine when you buy them frozen and keep them frozen till use and follow the heating instructions

  • I would certainly eat them . As long as the frozen meals have not been left out and the heated pies sitting around after purchase. .

  • Yes. Avoid soft cheeses, sushi, pre prepared or pre cut vegetables and salads, raw eggs. Use common sense with other foods. If in doubt, just avoid it for now.

  • I was a bit extra cautious in my pregnancy. I didn’t have hot bakery stuff unless I took it home and reheated it until very hot and knew it hadn’t sat out all day. Frozen meals are fine, just make sure you get them back in the freezer quickly after purchase and heat until very hot. Same with next day leftovers, heat until they are too hot in that moment to eat and allow to slightly cool (that’s what I was advised in a prenatal appointment).

  • I avoided this type of food during my pregnancy on advice from my doctor. I’d speak to your doctor about it and get their recommendations.

  • I avoided foods like this as you don’t know how long they have been sitting around for. If you were to buy one from a bakery and then cooked it at home, that is a safer option but i wouldn’t recommend buying one that has been heated by a shop. With regards to Frozen meals, these are safe as long as they are thoroughly cooked properly.
