Hello!

Hi, I am wondering if anyone knows a good location for a girls weekend away based around Melbourne (can be in the city or further out). I am looking at organising a girls weekend away with a couple of Mother’s group friends. We would ideally like something that includes spa treatments for that extra something and if possible, inclusive packages so we know what we are up for before we go. I am hoping some mums might have some ideas or tips on some great places they have visited. In need of some quality relaxation time!! Thanks

  • I have heard of Daylesford being wonderful!

    Go MoM!

  • Daylesford is the place that comes to mind near Hepburn springs. You can have mud baths, body wraps, massages etc galore. It is a lovely town with an old convent which is now open to public where you can buy so many goods from. Lovely restaurants & bush walks too. Have fun :)

  • I’m not from Melbourne but try doing a keyword seach in Google as your starting point. Hope this helps :)

  • I agree – Daylesford is lovely, but very pricey for spas etc.
Might be better on the Mornington Peninsula and accessing the Peninsula Hot Springs there? Lots of different types of accomm avail and a lovely time away.

  • yep i agree with everyone else……and winery trips with the girls are always fabulous!

  • We had our sort of honeymoon in Daylesford and it is just beautiful – I was quite prepared to move in at Hepburn Springs

  • OMG Daylesford, that is the ultimate. I have so many beautiful memories of that place as a child.

  • Ladies you can not go past Daylesford !! So much to do there. Cafe’s, Spa’s, Massage Healing Centre and beautiful walks around the lake and on the lake there are boats to hire.

  • Yeah I would try daylesford or hepburn springs they would probably be the best for girls weekend or even the yarra valley area

  • Some of the wineries do these sorts of things, check some of the bigger ones websites. Sound like a lot of fun.

  • I have heard of girls weekend away packages in Daylesford and Hepburn Springs. Also wineries in the region I believe.
