Hello!

I would love some green smoothie recipe recommendations! I have tried a few and love trialling different combinations. I’m stuck for ideas and would love to know if any other mums like to make green smoothies and what they use.

  • 1½ cups water
    1 head organic romaine lettuce, chopped
    ½ head of large bunch or ¾ of small bunch organic spinach
    3–4 stalks organic celery
    1 organic apple, cored and chopped
    1 organic pear, cored and chopped
    1 organic banana
    Juice of ½ organic lemon


  • For my green smoothies i use – Cucumber, avocado, coconut water, grapes, green apple, celery and some type of protein powder.


  • I love a combination of green Granny Smith apples, green grapes, celery, cucumber and apple juice. Especially if it’s made with some ice, and a little mint. Very refreshing and thirst-quenching on a hot Summer’s day.

  • Kale, spinach and mint is what my friend recommends. She says that you can’t taste the other two ingredients and the mint gives a really refreshing taste to it

  • I agree kale is great and so healthy


  • Basically, make a smoothie you like, and add greens- kale is great (hardly taste it) so is spinach, grapes, anything you like! Google “hulk” smoothie- there is some great ideas :)


  • Spinach and kale are two veggies that literally can’t be tasted in smoothies :) also beets … try not to add brocolli…it causes stomach discomfort when eaten raw…


  • Baby spinach, lemon juice, pear, apple, parsley, wheat grass & mint all through the juicer & ice cold, its actually yum!
