Hello!

How many times a week do you wash your hair? What is your favourite shampoo & conditioner and other products? I like my hair a few days after I’ve washed it, it sits nicer but gets oily quickly. Thanks

  • I have thick hair and lots of strands, bit longer than shoulder length. I use the cheap fruits shampoo. I wash it every few days, unless it’s dirty from exercising or mowing/beach etc. I wash my hair twice with shampoo as I find that washing once doesn’t do much (regardless of cheap or expensive shampoos). I usually get my conditioner based on half price specials, as cheap conditioner doesn’t help my hair at all. I also buy 2x shampoo to 1x conditioner.

  • I wash my hair every day and the products I use vary too. On the odd occasion where I haven’t washed it, it does look nicer the following day, but I really do prefer to wash it regularly.

  • Hah, this is an age old first world issue. Conditioner on the ends only, so you stop over oiling on scalp. I love Natio, Gaia, and L’Oreal.

  • You could try tea tree shampoo and conditioner for oily hair.

  • Roughly every three days depending on how much I’ve been doing. I love Tesseme and Palmolive.

  • I wash my hair every second day with Dove.
It’s not to rough on the hair or the scalp & has the most devine scent.

  • I wash and blowdry my hair everyday. I use TRESemme Luxurious Moisture or Palmolive Naturals Active Nourishment. It is sometimes a bit dry, but I just don’t feel comfortable if I don’t wash my hair everyday.

  • I wash my hair once a week. Usually a Friday arvo. I use redken shampoo and macadamia oil intense treatment as my conditioner.
Once out the shower I use a smoothing balm by matrix it helps.with detsngalong and as a heat protectent.
If my hair is looking oily I use either a dry shampoo or as I have blonde hair I comb some baby powder through.

  • I use Tresseme and wash it twice a week as mine get oily as well.

  • I used to wash my hair every second day, but found my colour wouldn’t last even with colour shampoos. I now wash it every five days and use a dry shampoo in between and its never looked better and the colour lasts longer too.

  • Middle range and on special hair products seem to work well.

  • It depends on activity; more often when participating in sporting activities. I go by look and feel of hair and not set days for washing hair.

  • I wash my hair every 2nd day and put a treatment mask on once a week. I think it depends on your hair type which is the best shampoo and conditioner to use but I like Joico, Redken and PPS the best.

  • twice a week just to keep it smelling fresh

  • I was my hair 3 times a week, sometime more depending if I’ve been exercising etc. I love Redken products for myself, a little pricey but help keep my hair healthy

  • Every 3 days :) shampoo x 2 before conditioning. Best advice ever given to me by a hairdress. Gone are the days of horrible looking hair that needs to be washed daily- Don’t waste your money on supermarket shampoo and conditioner, pay the extra $5-10 a bottle and get something from a salon :) you will need less of it and you wont need to wash it as frequently. Works out the same money wise!

  • I was every second day. I love access shampoo and conditioner, I also put Moroccan oil in the ends of my hair:)

  • I wash my hair everyday and at the moment love GARNIER FRUCTIS SILKY WAVES FORTIFYING SHAMPOO

  • I only wash my hair when the oilyness is NOTICEABLE, which is every 3 days or so. A bit of baby powder on have oily roots removes the oil

  • I wash mine every day with shampoo but conditioner is about twice a week and I use Sunsilk.
