Hello!

Hi I love your page, this is my first time posting and I’m posting for a friend, she is 22 weeks pregnant and found out just after the 20wk scan that her baby has a small head in proportion to the rest of it’s body and a small cerebellum. She had amniocentesis which showed negative to any chromosome defects. We were just wondering if any of your followers had had any experiences with anything similar?

  • Before my last baby was born I was told her head was measuring small and I was so worried but she was and still is just perfect. Her head was a little small but I have a small head as well so thats probably why.

  • My daughter had a growth discrepancy at birth as well. Once thriving the discrepancy disappeared.

  • how did it go? i had never heard of this before

  • Hoping that everything went well for your friend.

  • I haven’t heard of this, but hope the baby is ok.

  • If there was a real problem I’m sure her doc will discuss it with her and seeing the other tests came back clear it’s probably nothing to worry about at this stage.

  • Yes one of my mum friends now a 10 week old baby and she found out whilst pregnant that her baby’s head was growing slower and was smaller then the body, the bodies growth was normal and very healthy, when she was born she got stuck in intensive humidifier for 5 days then 1 day maternity unit then when they got out of hospital and ever since her beautiful baby girl is doing extremely well ;)

  • Have a sit down with her doc and discuss it is the best option.

  • Just don’t Google it talking with the Dr is the best thing to do
