We looked into this as i had my tubes tied at the age of 23 was 31 when we looked into it they told me then it was about $5000 to have it done and i only had a 15% chance of it working because of the time frame.
We ended up going down the IVF route as then (2009) medicare were still rebating nearly the whole cost think we were about $800 out of pocket.
I have had a tubal ligation but not reversed … you must think about the complications first. There will be a very high chance you could have a embryotic pregnancy which means the egg gets stuck on the scar tissue and can cause you alot of pain and if it is not seem to immediatley you could die. I would NOT consider a reversal at all.
