  • no i haven’t but my friend did and she was ok afterwards.she overhauled her diet during pregnancy anyway.

  • A friend of mine had it too. Her BGL went back to normal, helped along by the fact that she went on a Low GI Diet. She breastfed her babies while staying on a Low GI Diet. They were happy babies but overweight. They lost the surplus weight once they started crawling, then walking. As they got more active they grew taller and slimmed at the same time. Now they are all tall and very slim. They all play sport at school and on weekends. The older ones are also involved in swimming squads. They don’t stay still for long enough to gain too much wait. They refuse to eat junk food – even as a treat – awkward when they are travelling long distance and there isn’t many food options available. They together with therir friends in sports groups have probably been told the risks of eating junk food instead of sensible nutritious food.

  • I haven’t got it but my friend had it for all her pregnancies but she returned to normal after birth.

  • A friend with GD had everything return to normal after the birth of bub. :)
