Hello!

I have a 2 year old and a 7 month old and I work full time and have no interest in having sex with my husband. I feel bad but I’m just exhausted. But I just don’t want to either. I need help.

  • Hormones can play a huge role in our mood.

  • Yes, but for me it’s more because of menopause.

  • Sure have! I had a traumatic birth and the biggest fear for me is accidently falling pregnant. I genuinely don’t want to either. I am just so tired all the time.
Some days I just give in to satisfy him :P

  • Yes 100%!! After having kids they become your number one priority and due to being exhausted sex was the last thing on my mind. I’m lucky hubby was really understanding and we communicate very easily so I explained what and how I was feeling. Good news is that most of the time it’ll become good but I suggest speak to your GP aswell.

  • Yes yes yes! I really had to work at it to try and get my mojo back. Lots of cuddling with no expectation to go further. Good communication with my hubby to let him know how i iwas feeling and finally then making time to be intimate. That was the hardest part

  • Oh god yes! When your a mum to two little ones, like you are, the last thing on your mind is sex! When you think of bed, you think only of sleep because it’s what you’re lacking. Things usually come right, I hope hubby is patient and understanding

  • You’re not alone =)
Maybe try spending some time with your partner, just you and him if you can (one night a week, watch a movie together or eat dinner together, at home or out about) as I have heard that can help things.
A thing that has worked for me before is buying some lingerie, not for him, but for you! To feel confident and sexy again =)

  • don’t feel stressed. talk to hubby and explain what is happening and then take it all slowly. wait until you feel ready.

  • Are you possibly on the pill? I’ve always found that my libido drops right off when I’m taking the pill.
Talk to your Doctor about how you’re feeling, they may have some advice for you.

  • Maybe see your GP to discuss this as they may be able to help or refer you to someone who can help. It is good to get advice and talk about how you are feeling.

  • Yeah I lost mine, my hubby was understanding though, we didn’t do it for about 1 year or so until I was ready again. He loved it though when I was pregnant cause that was when I was wanting it ;) It came the time that we wanted more kids so win win he says lol
