Hello!

I saw a picture of someone cooking popcorn from the cob on pinterest, but I have no idea how to cook it! I would love to try it as it looks like a hoot! My kids would love it………… if I didn’t burn it :P

  • Would like to find out how,it sounds interesting!

  • Lol!! No, try it!!

  • I wouldn’t have thought this was possible. When you buy popping corn, it’s always dehydrated, so I assumed they do something to it to make it pop when you cook it

  • Very interested to know if this worked.

  • Would the corn pop right off the cobb? I’ll have to Google this.

  • no – but cannot wait to hear what others say – sounds awesome

  • I wouldn’t have thought this was possible. The popcorn you buy from the shop is usually treated somehow and all dried. Only suggestion I have is to Google search it. I’ld love to know if you have success with this

  • Haven’t done this before ,is it done in microwave?

  • I would love to do this as well!

  • Has anyone attempted this and do you have the results? Would love to see them on the cob! Off to do a google search!

  • Has anyone tried this yet?

  • No! I have never tried this but it sounds like it weld be a lot of fun! if you do get it to work I hope you share your experiences!

  • I never knew this was possible

  • I have never tried it or heard of it before

  • Curious to know if anyone actually tried it since the question was first posted?

  • I don’t know that it would work – moisture content would be too high? Next time I have some corn I shall experiment…

  • Just buy the bags of microwave poppin corn from the supermarket!
Do you really want to deal with all that mess and you know the kids won’t care less where their popcorn came from :)

  • i didnt even know this was possible!

  • have you given this a go would love ton know thanks

  • having perused through many a seed catalogue I understand that not all corn pops… just certain species.

but it certainly does sound like fun for a campfire!
