I don’t buy my younger kids presents too early because by the time its christmas their interests have changed. But I do stock up on things like decorations/crackers/paper etc while its on sale.

No, I consider not to do Christmas presents this year and make a big trip instead

As time goes on and expenses go up, our extended family has decided to limit Christmas gifts which relieves everyone of so much stress.

When my kids were young I always brought from the Kmart/bigw/target toy sales but now they are both teens I find nothing suitable in the sales. Last Xmas wasn’t a good one here as hubby had been in hospital due to a very major surgery. This year the only thing I have done is to pre-order some Xbox games that I will put away for xmas

I usually pick up bits and bobs throughout the year, makes things easier come Christmas

I have given up buying early – my children change there minds too often now and things go out of fashion

I normally buy daughter things as she needs it through out the year and then only something small from Santa, She gets enough other presents from family and friends.

if I see any specials in sales any-time during year and if I have cash I buy them and store them away.Surprising how many different stores put for sale items out to get room for new stock. Also I have got quite a few New things at op shops,probably unwanted gifts, so worth a try

i shop about two weeks before christmas! i have to hide it well but we have a lockable shed and that helps to be able to buy bigger items because santa still exists. i love going shopping at this time of year!

ive done the target toy sale this year its so handy so atleast i know im organised for xmas early.it was however so hard trying to find good things to buy for both my children who are two and four as they already have every thing possible and even then dont play with it this year we have gone for outdoor toys to get them out and about when the sun actually comes out in cold old vic lol

I shop for Christmas all year round as you can get stuff on special at all different times. I also stock up at the toy sales particularly big w because I can layby online without going into the store and it gets delivered in time for Christmas.

I buy stocking stuffers, but it’s generally wise to wait till closer to Christmas for big presents.

Completely done!!! including a 2nd birthday in Sep. We buy things through the year also…. Scrooge here *hands up* I do not like to spend much so bargain shop always. 2 girls for christmas and 1 birthday for under $300 and huge amount of presents each.

No, over the years I’ve cut back and only buy for us, mutual decision. Christmas is no longer a big deal here or expensive, we go happily into the new year without debt and without unwanted presents.

wow its a bit early for Christmas shopping!! last year I gave my children a choice between having xmas in July or December one chose July the other December so it was different but we were all happy!!

My little bundle of joy will be around 6 weeks old when Christmas arrives, I CANNOT WAIT!

I used to stock up with toy sales but I don’t anymore as I don’t think there are real bargains. It’s all a crock now days.
