Hello!

I recently tried the fermented drink Kombucha and learnt it is meant to be good for you. Has anyone tried it and made it part of their regular diet.

  • Tried it and loved it. There are some homemade recipes which then allow you to control how much sugar is added. Different brands are tastier than other.


  • I didn’t like it much so no, I don’t drink it regularly.


  • I’ve tried it and didn’t think much of it. I’d rather have other types of fermented food instead.


  • Yes, since many years (probably 10yrs or so) I have my own scoby and make kombucha all the time.

  • I have not heard of this. As a kid, my dad used to make a fermented milk drink called kefir. I enjoyed that. It’s interesting to see it as a superfood today

  • I do know someone that drinks it and it costs her $2 per small bottle. She swears by it, but I have not tried it.

  • Yes I always brew kombucha and make milk kefir as well. Both beautiful and healthy !
    My husband uses kombucha as well, for him make make a ginger beer type of kombucha ( with use of fresh ginger, cinnamon stick and star anise by the 2nd fermentation).
    I found Dom’s Kefir and kombucha site quite informative when I just started doing it years ago.
