why not try to file them its might just work!

i find it hard to cut my sons nails too what i try to do it cut them while hes asleep. .but it just takes time and patience maybe hell come around after trying or not..

Either just peel them off or bite them off. I find it much easier and safer and gives a soft edge no sharp corners

It is hard to cut nails when they are moving actively . Yes, best to wait when they are sleeping away

wait until he is sleeping. or really distracted by a book or toy etc.

Is he a heavy sleeper?? If so wait until he is sound asleep and if he isn’t a baby who move around perhaps you can try then.
I know a family with 2 children who are now school age and toddler. One hates having fingernails trimmed and the other one toenails. They leder one used top move about a lot – not so much now – but the younger one is terrible.

I cut my babies nails when they are sleeping, they don’t move as much and also if they have had a bath before bed the nails are softer than normal and a lot easier to cut.
