Hello!

Hi,
I’m a mum of three, work full-time and study.
My children are happy to try new foods.
I have a slow cooker and would like to utilise it more than I do.

Thanks in advance.

  • Slow cookers are versatile, casseroles, cakes, crockpot meals, scrolls etc

I think the best one that I have done was braised chicken – whole chicken breasts (we had 2 large), onions, carrots, can of condensed mushroom soup, and a can of tinned tomatoes. Cook on low for 6-8hrs and shred chicken at the end. You can serve with rice or put it in wraps or pita with salad.

    serve with mash potatoes.

  • If you like Satay Chicken, then you’ll love the following recipe, which can easily be cooked in a slow cooker, rather than in the microwave.

  • Soups are great for winter, so nutritious and the variety is endless. It would be a good way to use your slowcooker.
