Hello!

We’re thinking of having another child, but as a mumma of 2 already, we can’t decide if it’ll be difficult or easy?

  • I had my 3rd 3months ago, and i am slowly adjusting to it as i have 2 other kids, but they are in school,so maybe thats why i find it a bit easier but that doesnt mean that on the weekends and holidays its not a mess haha

  • We didn’t make it to three. I sit and think about this now and wonder why. We just stopped at two, a boy then a girl, and didn’t really discuss whether we wanted more. Til I was about 42, our kids were 19 and 16, hubby thought a new baby might be nice. Too late darling!

  • I think if your happy to try for a third and your prepared in some ways for another it’s all up to you…..its only another nappy

  • I’m about to go to 2 to 3 in about 5 weeks time. Not sure how it will work, as my kids are 1 and 6 both are still somewhat dependant on me. So I think that will be the hardest part, caring for 3 kids at the one time while hubby is at work.
But I’m sure if you and your partner want another one, go for it.

  • Going from 2 to 3 was a bit crazier and way more busier.

  • I admit I haven’t experienced this but a friend who had four children in quick succession said that going from 1 to 2 was the hardest.

  • If you want another child just do it. You’ll work it out! The extra effort to look after another child is irrelevant. Think about your full family in 15-20 yrs time. I’m confident that You would never regret having a third child but you’d regret it if you didn’t. I now regret not having more and I had 4.

  • Scarier going from 2 to 3 but easier in the end than 1 to 2 for sure! Just make sure you have done a bull cook up and bake and that you’re supported after the birth in those early weeks while the family adjusts.

  • Our number three was our surprise blessing as our first two were fertility drug babies. Yes the work does increase but so does the love. I just toted him around everywhere with me – which resulted in a kid who can sleep anywhere and through anything plus is extremely chilled out. He is a caring, thoughtful ten year old now and I cannot imagine life without him.
If you really want a third child then you will find a way to make it work. Best wishes for whatever you decide.

  • I only have 2 children…..but I watched my friends go from 2 to 3 kids and she said it was actually easier then going from 1 to 2 children…you just make it work.

  • You eventually just adjust to life take it from a mum who went from on to five ???? life’s never boring and I’m never in control

  • 2, 4 or more life and children can get stressful at times but remember children are born out of love and they give love. If you are undecided maybe that might be the answer to wait a while and see. All the best to you all.

  • I think once you’re over the unknown stress of the first child, it only gets easier. Life gets more hectic as there’s more to do, but it doesn’t really get harder

  • I’ve got 3 kids & to be honest having any amount of kids is not easy. However I found it a little easier 3rd time around as I already knew what to expect. My kids are very close in age & it does get stressful at times but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Plus there’s always wine to enjoy at the end of the day lol
