My breast fed bub (8months) seems to be dairy intolerant (excema, gassy, explosive poos, spewy after feeds) so I cut dairy out of my diet (eg: substituting almond milk instead of full cream) except for the occasional slip up (we all have days where we NEED chocolate right?!) and he is doing 100% better. I know I’m a few months off yet, but how do I go about starting him on full cream cows milk if he’s intolerant?
I’ve read that I could start him on yogurt and cheese as the lactose in that is broken down further so less likely to affect him, but I would like to be able to give him full cream milk at some point.
Has anyone else been through this with their little one and how did you do it?
