Having the glitter in a shaker might help – but honestly, I think you’re doomed. It gets everywhere.

a tip is to get an old piece of stocking and stretch it over the end of the vac cleaner like a sock. secure it and vac. you can collect all the glitter again and use it 🙂

In the past if the kids played with messy stuff , it is best to sit them in a room of its own and everything is vinyl or wooden . Floor has NO carpet . Also , no table cloths , fancy accessories, decorations etc. Put the glitter in one area and maybe you can distribute them as they play along . That way you can sweep it up easily and it is only in one area or spot .

Glitter is one of those things that is very hard to control. Maybe do craft outside if you can. Or put down a plastic tablecloth you can take outside and wipe down.

Have you tried placing the sticky side of adhesive tape or duct tape on it? That may help. It used to be quite good removing Persian cat fur off things.[ not the pussy cat though! ]

either take it outdoors or i put a splatmat on the table. That way I can just shake it or fold it and pour it into the rubbish

Liking the idea of messy crafts outdoors – lets hope not too many flies or too hot or windy over summer!

A little table outside can be useful for glitter and other messy arts and crafts projects.

Glitter in a shaker, if you want loose glitter
other wise glitter glue is the way to go.

Mine usually use it at the kitchen table only because it’s on lino and is easily cleaned up. You could try having the use of glitter confined to one area of the house to limit its spread. You’ll never stop it 100%

Glitter seems to hang around for days and days! I would love suggestions too!

Not exactly sure but when we use glitter we use on the back deck or on a table on the grass out side so if the glitter gets on the floor its not such a bad thing 🙂
