You can buy a Houdini strap that stops them achieving this. My 2 yo does it too and it drove me mad! Pick it up on line (Google where) or I’m sure any baby supplies shop sell them.

Before all these brand name items came on board I actually used a Velcro strip that did the job these items do.

Buy a houdini strap – they are absolutely brilliant. My little guy was always doing it as well and as soon as I purchased the houdini strap (I bought mine from Baby Bunting) he can no longer get his arms out!

make sure they are tight and yeah get a houdini strap. In the last comment, the pic, a lot of seats from infant+ will come with one of those things

There is also a Securall from Infasecure that can be used on car seats, prams and high chairs.

is it too loose if she can get her arms out?? check with the manufacture as this sounds like a design fault to me.

You can get a clip called a Houdini that works wonders.
