Hello!

I have painful ingrown hairs on my knees. Anyone know the best way to stop them?

  • I had to go to a Podiatrist(the Foot Doctor.) who fixed mine and showed me the best way to cut my toe nails. There is nothing worse they are so painful! Hope you get it fixed.

  • I am facing the same issue in my legs, nothing is working for me so far.

  • Hope you had some success in dealing with this problem.

  • yes exfoliate for sure and here’s a weird tip that works – shave in the direction that your hair grows. so shave from your knee down towards your toes. it cuts the hair off a little (un-noticeably) longer and reduces in-grown hairs

  • Following your post as I too get them, I generally remove with tweezers myself but wondered if there is a better way.

  • my ex husband had one on his bottom, sorry had to go to doctors and have it removed, but best to get it checked if I were you

  • Ouch, I feel your pain :/ All I can suggest you try is regular buffing of your knees to reduce the dead skin build up. Good luck

  • Exfoliate gently with a loofah – it may help?

  • Exfoliating is meant to prevent them but they can become infected – maybe see the gp there might be a cream or laser therapy might help

  • i scratch and pick them out with tweezers, Im less gentle and more brutal oops

  • Use moisturiser on your knees, the gentle massage should slowly remove the sore follicles
