I try to cut a square-looking part off and then chop the skin off thinly. But I also have a jar of minced ginger in the fridge which is often my go to!
I use a small knife and chop it off. I’m not too fussy in getting it all off if I’m making ginger tea no just slice and put in the mug before pouring in the water. Just give a rinse beforehand
I’m a chest and use ground garlic and ginger . Hub likes his fresh ginger so when I have them I store them in the fridge to keep fresh then peel them with an everyday peeler and then you can slice or chop them or however you want to use them .
