Try to make sure the only snacks you have on hand are low-cal or savoury. Much better to have an alternative for sbacking. A glass of water does help to break the habit.
When you feel the need to nibble, drink a full glass of water – this decreases the appetite. Also, try to keep occupied in a room furthest from the kitchen so you’re not tempted to reach out and grab something. If you do need something, try to make it a healthy option, like fruit.
