A few weeks – my son had a tongue tie and couldn’t latch properly so my milk dried up. If milk hadn’t dried up so fast I would have expressed milk to a bottle for him. I also did not like the feeling of breastfeeding. Felt gross.

I breastfeed my eldest for about 10 months and my youngest about 8 or 9 months.

Wow, I’m an under achiever vompared to most, and here I was thinking I did a good job! Mine were around 9 months, they self weaned once they started having solids

I breastfed my son for 5yrs or so (the later years just a feed before bed).

My first untill 16 months ( i was 4 months pregnant with my 2nd)
2nd only 13 months ( stopped as i was going to have some medical tests done and couldn’t breastfeed or be pregnant )

1 1/2 years

7 month with the first one and 2nd is 9 month currently and still feeding and hoping to do till she turn 1 year old.

My little one weaned herself at 6 months because she like her solids so much!! Having said that they are all individuals, decide what works best for you and your bub.

my kids- 14months, 17months (because i was pregnant) and 2years. the recommendation is now 2years for breastfeeding which was used to be one year.

I breastfed my daughter for about 15 months before she decided that she didn’t want it any more. My son is currently 16 weeks and I’m hoping he will continue for at least 12 months, if not longer :o)

My first was 14 months & my second has got 5 teeth now & has learnt to bite me. She’s nearly 10 months & I honestly don’t think it’s going to last much longer. Can get very painful lately. 9 months is very good

3 years first. 2nd still going at 18 months.

Everyone is different.
14 months with first born. Then straight to cup – cows milk.
13 months with second born. Supplemented formula.
9 months with third born. Supplemented with formula early on.

1st 9 months – self weaned; 2nd 6 months – self weaned; 3rd 16 months – self weaned and 4th is nearly 17 months and is still breastfeeding!

1st was for 13 months (self weaned) 2nd 6 wks (lactose intolerant) 3rd 6 months (self weaned) and my 4th 2 years 9 months i weaned him off think he would still be going if i would of let him hes now 4 and a half lol.
