Hello!

I know it’s normal for babies to put things in their mouth but mine puts his mouth on everything. Tries to eat the corner of the carpet matts, our toes, puts his lips and tongue on the floor. He’s always given teething rings and teething gloves. Any ways to put a stop to this?

  • I used to use a dummy so their mouth was occupied.

  • It’s a hard one but being repetitive in saying no, yuk, etc works but takes a lot of patience.

  • Just offer other options they eventually stop but it’s how they test everything at that age unfortunately.
