I would suggest seeking support when looking for mobility aides. Maybe consult an occupational therapist for advice. Items can often be loaned until you find the right items.

I’d ask a a hire place (they have a lot of hire places for mobility aids) which would be a good starting place and you can also return and change if it isn’t working well for you.
