My Jaseywase is going in for brain surgery next month & I am after good, useful mobility aides & brands. He will be wobbly on his feet. I have got as far as washing basket trolley lol. Thank you :)

  • The Hospital Occupational Health people surely will come around and see him before he goes home from hospital to access him to see what he needs

  • Aidacare can be a great place to get mobility aids

  • I would suggest seeking support when looking for mobility aides. Maybe consult an occupational therapist for advice. Items can often be loaned until you find the right items.

  • Not to sure but I hope other mums can help you. Good luck.

  • The very first answer here is where I would have pointed you to, or anyone of the mobility online places will at least give you an idea of what is available so you can source it in your area. All the best.

  • wishing him goodluck on his brain surgery. my son had a cerebral aneurysm which required craniotomy last year

  • I hope you found a good one

  • I’d ask a a hire place (they have a lot of hire places for mobility aids) which would be a good starting place and you can also return and change if it isn’t working well for you.

  • there are some good brands at Chemist outlets and Antsy is good
