Hello!

Since the birth of my two girls child my Thyroid levels is getting high. Currently I’m not taking anything just monitoring blood levels. The thought that I have to take tablets all my life is something I don’t want to do but do prefer to try any natural medicine.

Please if you know someone or even yourself I do need some help in this topic and would love some advice.

  • I found out I had Hashimoto’s – thyroid disease while pregnant with my 4th child. I find the Dr’s don’t help much but I take medication daily & follow people on Instagram. You can just search on there & find many people who provide helpful advice on lowering levels. I found a lot have said going gluten & dairy free helps. Take care & all the best!

  • Check out Anthony williams book Thyroid Healing, there is a lot of good advice and explanations about what you can do to restore your health and the functioning of your thyroid.

  • Thanks for your response curlytops and am hoping when I see the specialist that he or she may give me alternatives. My normal treating doctor could not recommend alternatives

  • Thanks Mel1 and I have booked a specialist appointment today. Can I just ask what are the main signs for overactive thyroid?

  • have you asked your doctor for alternatives?

  • I suffered with Grave’s disease (an overactice thyroid) for years and did need to manage it with medication. You will need to get specialist advice as if left the condition can cause heart problems and other health concerns. I am very happy to say that after about 14 years of medication I am now free of the condition and have been for 16 years. I wish you all the best.
