MONA is a must, easy to fill 2 hours there, you’ld probably need more time then that! Cadburys visitor centre is close, so that’s out! The botanical gardens are always nice. And the weekend markets are fabulous!
Go down to Franklin Wharf! The best fish and chips, great views, grassy areas nearby to sit and relax, and right near all the shops at Salamanca or the market if you are there on a Saturday.
Depends on the day. If it was a weekend, I would check out the Melville Street and Salamanca markets. Any other day, I would spend 2 hours ambling around. It’s lovely on the Hobart waterfront!
We were recently in Hobart. The hop on hop off bus tour is really good and gives you a pretty good look at Hobart in a short amount of time. They are really friendly too and very informative.
