Hello!

A couple of months ago, I won a Turbo Oven in an on-line auction that was raising money for an animal shelter. I’ve only recently collected the oven, and I’ve found that when I opened the box the oven came in, there’s no instruction booklet with the oven, and no recipes or advice on what to cook and how to cook it. Do any of our Mums have an advice for me on how to use the oven, and what I can cook in it?

  • You cook whatever you cook in a normal oven but it will be a quicker cook in one if these ovens

  • Is a turbo oven like a thermomix? lol!!!

  • You could google the instructions or email the company:)

  • goodluck with your turbo, I love mine

  • I’ve had a look on Gumtree and there’s 3 different people selling George Foreman Turbo Ovens, so I’ve emailed each of them asking if they’d copy the instruction booklet for me and post it to me. I’ve offered to pay them $10 for their trouble, which I’m hoping is a fair price. Now I’ve just got to cross my fingers that one of them is happy to do it for me.

  • Maybe look online for the instruction manual as most things are available there nowadays.
Or you could try ringing the company direct and asking if they would be able to send you the documents out as they werent it the box.

  • Google the brands manufacturer – they often have downloadable manuals, or you can ask them to send one to you.

  • I guess unless I find instructions, I’ll just have to use it and hope for the best. It will probably be a matter of trial and error. But I’d kill for instructions, even without recipes.

  • you can cook everything and anything in it. you can cook a chicken in it in half the time. Just use it like a normal oven with temp but watch it and you will work out how much time to cook things
