As long as the non stick coating isn’t flaking into your food, they should be fine. But the non stick properties will have reduced

I’ve always thrown my non stick cookware away when they started to peel. Now I mostly use cast iron or stainless steel to cook in as they are said to be safer options.

From past advice of others, I was informed it is best not to because the non-stick coating can be toxic if ingested. Pans can be bought at supermarkets now at reasonable prices so throw it out and get a new one .

If the black non stick coating is coming up and peeling then throw them away. It is toxic. This is why I don’t buy them because to me, if it is toxic then why use them too cook with in the first place. For non stick I have stone wear. Yes it is more expensive but it works great. If I have to use oils I use only coconut oil, other than that I don’t use anything and all it needs is hot soapy water and soft cloth or sponge to clean, no harsh scrubbing.

I am wondering the same thing. Mine isn’t peeling just no longer nonstick. A bit disappointed as I don’t think I have had the pan for that long.
