I never did, think it’s a waste of money. I rather make a nice family photo around the Christmas tree myself

There are places that offer free/cheaper Santa photos like Harvey Norman or Ikea if you really would like one without too much expense.

Hi i was contemplating as well but last yr managed to get free Santa Photos from Ikea in Melbourne and Harvey Norman as well. They do sell afforable products that you can purchase.

I love my santa photos, but we go to where they’re free (you take them yourself), or they ask for a gold coin donation to charity.

Our local shop has a free santa photo op. Harvey Norman also do a free santa shoot.

have a friend who goes to christmas light displays and gets free pics with santa! lol

I’e had a bit of a splurge and got my bubs first photos from an awesome company that does boutique Santa photos.
Next year I think we will just do the shopping centre ones though.

Santa photos are usually quite cheap. It’s no worth it if they get upset. We have done it the last 2 years

It’s not worth the money if your child is upset and doesn’t want to sit with Santa, then the photo is just no good. But if all goes well, it is a nice memory to keep. We do it every year.

We only did it for my daughter’s first Christmas and we’ll do it again when our next child is born too but otherwise we leave it. There is so much to spend money on at Christmas that this just always seemed like a silly expense to me.

As long as the kids are happy to have a photo taken with Santa it is fun!

Santa photos are pretty cheap and they are once a year and a bit of fun.
