Hello!

I am wondering if I remove the fine hair from my face, it will grow back more and I will have to have it removed regularly? Is threading a good and gentle way to do this or is waxing the way to go?

  • I’ve only ever plucked. I have heard threading hurts and isn’t cheap

  • This is the first time I’ve ever heard of threading. I’ve used tweezers for so long now I don’t even need to look in the mirror, I just feel the hair with my finger and yank the little offenders right out. As for those fine hairs, I’ve removed some and they don’t grow back aggressively.

  • I prefer threading over waxing, but laser over both

  • up to you though really. some people swear by it

  • Threading is somewhat more prolonged than waxing

  • I highly recommend laser the best. Threading really hurts before I started laser I was doing threading and it always made me cry OUCH!

  • Both ways will sting a little as hair is being ripped/pulled.

  • Threading is great, although in my opinion husrts allot more then waxing

  • Wow sounds interesting and a tad painful! Quite interesting comments as well!

  • I’ve heard about threading but never tried it. I’m going to look into it for my teen daughter.

  • Threading hurts!

  • Tweezers are good.

  • For a quick fix the in shower hair removal cream is great or i pluck mine with tweezers under a lamp.

  • Never heard of threading but my sister-in- law used to literally pluck hair from her face and it seemed to work for her. Looked painful but she did not have hair grow back. Me pretending am a lady!

  • I think they both pull hair, so I would think they are the same

  • The hair always grows back, even with laser treatment.

  • I’m not sure how well it works or how long til the hair returns, I’ve been told it hurts though, A LOT!

  • I think threading is fantastic I go really red with waxing for hours afterwards but with threading it goes down a lot sooner!

  • Both ways will work – but hair will still grow back.
