I know how hard it is for a mother who bottle feeds to get around and be there near a stove at the time the baby is due for a bottle. I breast fed for 6 months but have moved onto bottle as I had a kidney stone and couldn’t breast feed with medication and it slowed my supply down after so I couldn’t return. I just want to know how many ways people do it. Bottle bag? Flask? I used a bottle bag..the most expensive one and yet it’s for two bottles and by the time the first bottle is used the second bottle is cold. So I had my partner nan tell him to use a flask, so we boil the water, cool it down and put in the flask..it’s lasts for about 10hours depending on how hot or warm the water is! I thought wow we could travel to QL 12hr drive and be able to have the feeds depending on the size of the flask! I now don’t have to rush around to get home after the cooler bag has run out. I just put water in a flask and formula in a container and every time she needs a bottle I put the formula in then use the water from the flask! But I’m keen to know what other mummies do, I couldn’t believe that idea and I’m sure there is so many great ideas from all you wonderful mummy’s.
