  • My 11yr old has been asking for it recently

  • Every child is different and everyone’s body functions different. I myself for example do not use deodorant simply because I do not sweat under my arm pits. For a long time I did use deodorant just because everybody does it and I thought I should as well.
Some kids hit puberty early, other late. My daughter was 14 when her body started developing and got her period when she was 15yrs old, she started using deodorant when she was 13yrs or so.
My son is 14yrs old now and is relatively small and his voice didn’t change yet. I think he started using deodorant when he was 12 or 13yrs old just because he wanted to feel grown up, not because he’s so sweaty.
Make sure to chose a natural chemical free deodorant.

  • I can’t remember the exact age, but I think it was when she started high school/puberty – about 12 years of age.

  • Mine are too young for this yet, but I think when their clothes start to smell!

  • Not yet (my eldest is 9) – except for stinky shoes. They get sprayed.

  • Around 10-11 abd I would try find
    All natural one.

  • Was also ingested in this. Thanks for asking the question, and I will be looking at everyone else’s advice too.

  • My six year old and eight year old daughters use a little.

  • I think around the time they go to high school. But every child is different. maybe if they play a lot of sports they could start using it earlier.

  • I am trying to teach my daughter to start wearing it and she is 9 nearly 10.

  • about 10yo is fine

  • Around 10 or 11,should be ok!

  • depends on the child but mine started at about 11

  • I’d say over the school holidays before starting high school would be a good time to start. Get them into the habit of it and over any initial embarrassment before school starts. Don’t wait until you notice an odour.

  • I think around 12.

  • I think 10 years old and the kids very active in sport activity.

  • I think around 10 – 13 woul dbe a good age to start

  • I started when I was 13.. But it was because everyone else was using it!

  • My son started at 10. He came and asked me as he had noticed he was getting “stinky”! Depends on the child. I am waiting for my next son to ask me.

  • My oldest probably will soon – she’s 8 and really really active in sports. I will be using a crystal one though that is all natural.
