It depends what you already have, I would go thermi if you have not got a slow cooker or pressure cooker, soo versatile but so cost prohibitive for most
I am a kitchenaid fan. I use mine weekly and it’s great. While away with family last year my SIL brought along her thermomixer and I couldn’t work it!!!
I have the target Bellini intelli kitchen master, got it second hand for $50 and it is awesome!! Will definitely get another if it breaks, it is a cheaper version of the thermomix.
I have both! I’ve had my kitchenaid for 6 years and have maybe used it 3 times in that time. I saved for my thermomix for a few years and finally bought it before christmas. I absolutely love it and used it at least once a day. I did have the bellini before I committed to this purchase to make sure that I would like that type of cooking. I say book a demo in to see how the thermomix works and then make up your mind.
I have the Bellini which is just like the thermomix but doesnt have the huge price tag with it.
I love using my Bellini and i use it everyday without fail.
Sobs… I want a thermomix but our family budget won’t allow it and I really am not sure hiw much I’d use it. My kitchen aid however was a great present and I use it alot but the thermo does a lot more.
They really do different things – the Thermomix also cooks and steams which the KitchenAid does not but if you can’t afford one there are some alternative and cheaper Thermo cookers on the market – Bellini (from Target)?
Like the other have said a thermomix is very expensive, I tried nagging my husband to buy me one telling him that this would help me to learn to cook more and between quality food. He just laughs at me – his a qualified chef. So it really depends on what you can afford or if lucky enough to win one
