Hello!

I think I may be pregnant again- it’s been almost 2 yrs since the birth of my last little one. My breasts are tender and swollen, I am already leaking colostrum but if I am pregnant it would be 2-4 weeks, so its very early. Is this normal for the third time round? Did any other mums who have had more then one child experience leaking colostrum?

  • And ? Did you end up being pregnant ?
Your body starts to produce colostrum in the first trimester, but moms-to-be usually don’t start leaking breast milk until closer to the end of pregnancy, if it happens at all while they’re pregnant

  • Not that early – but around five months, yes.

  • all the best if you are pregnant

  • How do you know it’s colostrum? I always thought the milk didn’t come in til after the birth. So no, I’ve not experienced this

  • also you could check out the diet

  • Do you have some news you could share with us as this is possible that you may have been with child.

  • Did you find out if you were pregnant?

  • how did it urn out?

  • What did you find out?

  • Wow, I never knew that you could leak that early!

  • How are you going now?

  • Did you find out? Are you pregnant?

  • Did you find out if you were?

  • Ohh sounds like you might be pregnant.

  • My breasts were sore 2 weeks after stopping the pill & turned out I was pregnant. I started leaking colustrum at 18 weeks. Didn’t happen at all with my 2nd pregnancy.

  • Remember no two pregnancies are the same

  • I never had this but that doesn’t mean you are not pregnant. Ask your doctor and since you are so early I would ask for a blood test too

  • Good luck, hope everything works out for you.

  • Yep, I stopped feeding my second when she was 18 months, pregnant with 3 rd 6 months later. I don’t think my milk ducts had actually closed between them, started leaking early and didn’t have the same ‘opening up’ sensation I had the previous 2 times

  • Do a pregnancy test, but go and get it checked out as unusual loss from the nipple can mean other things, Good luck.
