Hello!

I’ve used a menstrual cup for years, both pre and post baby. However, after my second child I now have prolapse. My menstrual cup no longer fits because of this so pops out.
Wanting to hear from anyone in a similar situation who have made the investment in a menstrual disc – has it worked for you? I’m not going to go back to disposable products as I use reusable products to reduce my environmental impact.

  • I’ve never heard of this – but like others, would like to suggest period undies as an option.

  • I love period underwear, i found getting the cup out a horrible experience.

  • I haven’t used one but would you try the period undies? Game changer for me!

  • So much I have never heard of! Good luck.

  • I would talk with your doctor. Discs are a great concept, but not for everyone. Discs are soft, and don’t require suction to stay in place. They need to hook behind the pubic bone to stay in place. Therefore, if you have prolapse involving the front of the vaginal wall, it is unlikely to stay in place.

  • Never heard of it until now; thanks for flagging it.

  • I have never heard of a menstrual disc, i had to google it. I would go and speak to your GP as they will be able to give you advice too.

  • Very interesting. Also never heard of it. But will look it up.

  • I’ve never even heard of a menstrual disc! How did you find the cup?
