Microdermabrasion kits

Has anyone tried these at home? Going to professionals are so expensive per session and I’m considering whether buying the in store ones work just as good.

I haven’t tried, however Dermalogica have a Daily Microfoliant which is amazing.

I’ve always wanted to try one of these! But like you I’ve put it off as I’m unsure of the risks and/or results of the home kits.
