It is supposed to be randomly drawn from the people who are in the top purple section. Obviously, if there are less prizes on offer, it is harder to get in that section. I more often than not get the books, but I have on occasion gotten a different prize. It’s just the luck of the draw.

I would have guessed a lucky dip too! I have definitely been lucky over the years here and appreciate anything that is won as it’s a bonus for me to win a prize for enjoying the content all year! I have found some incredible books and authors that are now my go to reads because of it

This is an incredible website and community for mums to ask questions and read some really great articles. I love being involved in this community and being in the chance to win a prize. It is a wonderful extra bonus if you are a lucky winner. I have won a few book prizes since joining a few years ago and it is great to win books that I wouldn’t normally pick. It has been a great opportunity to read something different and new. Thank you MOM’s, this truly is a great site to be part of.

I agree with the comments below about receiving rewards. I have been a member for a long time and have seen many changes on the site. The rewards is an extra bonus to all of the other features of the site and being a part of the community. I love to receive books and other prizes too and there is so much joy in reading.

Great question! I wasn’t sure how it worked either, we had our washing machine kick the bucket last month and so I really had my fingers crossed to winning the washing machine. I won the books instead and I’ve got to say I was still pretty chuffed with that! I’m a stay home mum and participating on this site has been giving me alot of joy 😊
