Moles can be easily removed by a dermatologist and sometimes even your GP can do it in his/her surgery. The excision will most likely require stitches but the scars tend to fade over time.

Make an appointment with the Gp and seek advice & options.

They can be frozen off and potentially it can just fade and disappear

A GP can give the best advice on moles and also monitor moles. Important to get them checked by a GP.

See yoyr paediatrician see what they say. Can’t see why they wouldn’t remove it……

As said below, GP is your first stop. Ask them if they have experience in minor surgical procedures as it can be very difficult to remove from an ear – not much skin or flesh there.

You can go to the GP and find out if it is a mole or a wart. Both can usually be removed by a GP.

Gosh you’re harsh! But yes, there are definite options for removal. My son grew a blue mole at one stage. Our gp removed it in a double appt at his consulting rooms. Was so quick!

You can get elective removals just need to go to the GP. They will ask why it can be done because you don’t like how it looks or because it rubs on clothes etc.

Go see your doctor – he/she will either surgically remove it at another appointment or refer you to another doctor or specialist to remove it. After it’s removed you will have to go back to have the stitches taken out. It won’t hurt your child and there shouldn’t be much (if any) scarring.
