Hello!

Hi Mums. We just moved here from South Africa and I was wondering what nappy brands you would recommend for my baby boy. Thanks

  • Also magazines often have samples.

  • There is a wide selection of nappies available on the market and sometimes you can get samples to try before you buy.

  • When my son was in nappies, I couldn’t go past Huggies. A bit more expensive but worth it. All the best in your new home. :)

  • I find babylove was best for my son under 2 but now he is 2 I have moved to Huggies Nappy Pants. I would try out a few to see which ones fit best as they all work differently on different kids. Most of the nappy companies have samples online so maybe do a search and see if you can get some to trial

  • We use huggies for our 8mo boy.

  • huggies, if you don’t mind the price. i personally have been using woolworths homebrand and they are unisex nappies for a great price. go to nappy sites and request a free sample and that will help you to decide.

congrats on coming to australia and welcome

  • HUgges, i swear by them!

  • The Aldi Huggies are great, I have also just started using the Woolworths brand as well, it is great just for night time on my toddler during the toilet training.

  • Baby love for a boy.

  • I always buy Huggies. Its the brand I can rely on & trust

  • Coles brand are fine for during the day, and Huggies are super-absorbent, so they’re great at night. If you want something that’s more “eco-friendly”, you can’t go past Naty By Nature.

  • I buy the coles ones. They work great for us..im sure they are called sorbies or something. If there is none available I get huggies.

  • huggies or snugglers are good and so are Aldi brand

  • South Africa? I am not sure with the brands there :(

  • there are some good comments here

  • i use the coles brand there nice and cheap and work great

  • huggies all the way .

  • We use Huggies for night time as our 20 month old sleeps 12 hours a night (and has since she was 8 months old) and we find nothing else holds as much liquid.
Then we use the coles brand nappies through the day.

  • I myself prefer Babylove plus they are cheaper which suits me but other mums I know will only use Huggies, so I think it’s each to there own.

  • Hi, with 4 boys, we tried all the brands. We found that the Aldi brand was great value for money and very good quality. I had 4 in nappies at one stage. Occasionally they do specials and you can buy a whole box of nappies for about $18. They are unisex, and I have not used them for girls, sorry.
