Hello!

I’ve just had my second baby and been having break downs randomly. I didn’t get this way with my first daughter and I believe there are more triggers than just the newborn baby thing. I’ve suffered with anxiety my whole life and tried everything medical, all making me go crazy. I love the natural root to life so I need some suggestions on helping calm me down and not just break into tears at the drop of a hat. Also could it be my partner contributing? I have not been in a good place for a while with him and just trying to figure it all out.

  • St John Wort found on shelf in supermarkets or chemist with vitamins and supplements. Helps with anxiety. One per day. Keep taking. Try health shake in morning.
Excercise releases endorphins “feel good” things in body. Even if excercising at home if anxious.
    Positive self talk.
Combine all these and just set simple goals for yourself. Might seem basic to another but that doesn’t matter, your not another person. You are YOU and struggling. You’d be surprised how many self doubting mums are out there, feeling alone or breaking down.

  • If you have strain in your marriage, that can definitely contribute, especially if you already have anxiety, so talking to your husband and figuring out a routine together to take the pressure off is a start. I would also recommend speaking to your doctor or a psychiatrist because they will be able to help you with coping techniques. You also need a support system in place, whether it be family or just close friends, so you can call them up and get them to help when you feel like you are struggling. Hang in there mumma, you are doing great!
