Hello!

I just read an article today that L’Oreal will be removing the word ‘whitening’ from their beauty products. Dixie Chick’s have dropped Dixie. Allen’s are changing the names of Chicos and Red Skins. Eskimo Pie will no longer exist. Statues are being destroyed. Has the world gone mad?!?!

  • No. The world hasn’t gone mad. People are just trying to be kinder to each other by being respectful.

  • I don’t think it’s a bad thing to be sensitive to other people’s feelings. Yes, sometimes it can seem overboard, but does it really hurt to try to be sensitive?

  • yes, the world has gone covid crazy. Allen’s announced name changes for their Chico and Redskin lollies. These lollies are only sold in Australia, so the number of ppl insulted by them is SO minimal. Why do they bow down to a very vocal minority, ignoring the majority, it’s terribly worrying

  • Simple answer….YES!!!! Its soo soo sad :(

  • Yes, I think the world has gone mad! Some of these things we are seeing and hearing are way too extreme – the whole issue is turning into a blame game and to hell with the consequences ……

  • Too many people just want to be politically correct and bring down these companies for labels they’ve used for years. I dont mind either way but i love that big brands are being proactive and arent afraid to be part of a change for the future to come

  • I think that people are easily offended thesedays and often look for more places to point blame. I don’t care what things are called, but changing names of bands, lollies etc that have been around for decades if not centuries is a bit extreme.

  • I just dont care what the name is…i think people are easily offended those days…
