Products to use to combat very fine hair

I love doing braids and fancy styles in my daughter’s hair but her hair is so fine that it almost always slips out during the day and just looks messy by the afternoon. Are there any products you can recommend for fine hair (other than hairspray) that will help keep the hair in place during the day?

yeah for sure. have you heard of volumising powder? find this and add it too her hair. it will help to “fluff it” out for gripping. Also it is a little sticky. it brushes out. now i am a hairdresser so i have heard that people replicate this with baby powder but that is more for if you are trying to eliminate oily hair. Another thing that i recommend is dry shampoo. It makes the hair more “dirty” like but will help keep it all together. I know that it sounds funny to say that dry shampoo makes the hair dirty but it makes it grippy.
