Mashed baked beans, Avo on toast, yoghurt pouches, and I used to steam the veg and meats i was having and then stick blended to a puree until she was about 8 or 9 months and started finger type foods like home made chicken meatballs with spinach

well the advice here is Tassie(and I hope it’s the same Aussie wide!!) is that Bub can eat anything now, you don’t have to introduce food item by item. So Bub can eat whatever you are eating(aside from any known allergies!) so either purée your bolognaise or ash it depending on what stage they are at! If they are already into finger food… Eggs and soldiers, sandwhiches, cooked veggie sticks etc… Custard, yoghurt with fruit!
7 month olds don’t need anything more than puréed, mashed foods. They get all their nutritional needs from puréed fruit, meat and veggies. Don’t add salt or sugar, of course. Pasta dishes would be good too
I made good stocks using meats, veggies or both, then blending the meats and mashing/blitzing the veggies. I use the stocks thinned with water to cook pasta or rice (cooked soft enough your gums could mash them) then mixed them together.
Instead of peaking veggies into purée just mash them. You can also try soft meats like mince and chicken. Mine liked chicken mince which I would also mash and add some pumpkin or sweet potato to.
I used to mix mostly puree with a little rice or really mashed up mince. Try mince and rice with pumpkin puree (I know it sounds gross, but my little ones loved it). Also Rissoni is great if your little one is ready for pasta.
Spag Bol, steamed and puréed veggies, chicken casserole, tasty salmon (salmon, potatoes, tomato, onion. Sounds not very kid friendly but my fussy one loved it), chicken and lentils, lamb and chickpeas.
