Hello!

Any MoMs have recommendations on hay fever treatments? With so many to chose from, I’m a little lost. I just want one that works. Thank you

  • It’s a case of shopping around and trying different brands til you find one that works for you

  • You should go see your GP now and get an injection that will prevent the hayfever in spring …. I know a few ppl that do this

  • there are some good comments here

  • could u try an antihistamine

  • The kids, my husband and I all suffer from allergies and hayfever. Have tried a few treatments and the only one I will recommend that worked for all of us was Zyrtec. We also use Fess sinus spray to wash out noses. Sinus spray is completely safe and you can use it for longer periods of time, unlike medicated nasal sprays

  • I find the only one that works is Zyrtec

  • See the chemist, my daughter has hay fever tablets when it is bad.

  • Some good advice there below.

  • Ask at the chemist as they may have a specific one for your needs and symptoms

  • I have one word for you – Zyrtec!

  • Did you find one that has worked for you?

  • Nasal Spray makes me sick (seriously, vomit) so I use zyrtec. I know some chemists have samples so well worth asking what they recommend.

  • What did you end up getting for your hay fever?

  • Polarmine is the only one that works for me.

  • I have tried most tablet forms which all seem to be crap. I absolutely swear by nasal spray. Dimetapp and Rhinocort are great

  • I had major issues with my sinuses. What worked for me was a vitamin combo – odourless garlic, vitamin c, echinacea, zinc with olive leaf. I put extra garlic on my meat at night and within a couple of days I felt really good. I had that many issues I got ear infections and antibiotics weren’t helping but this did. Good luck :)

  • You have to try them – I’ve tried quite a few with not much relief. I take dime-tap nasil spray now and phernergan at night when it is really bad.

  • I swear by XZyrtec! its great:)

  • I have a friend who swears by Rhinocort.

  • I would ask the doctor to make sure you get what’s best for you.
