I think using a foot moisturiser or product that is targeted for that issue may help you. Have a chat to the pharmacist or your doctor and see what they suggest.
I was fortunate this year to have won a Dermal Therapy Platinum heel balm cream and it is a very intense cream used for dry cracked heels. In your case you may need a moisturising soak for your feet to soften the skin on a daily basis , then apply the balm . These days pharmacys such as Priceline has so many solutions for dry cracked heels so pop in and talk to someone about it and I am sure someone can give you a recommendation . If it gets worse and it starts bleeding etc , pop in to see a doctor for treatment .
There’s a foot soak you can get from Avon called Foot Repair I think. You soak your feet in it and there’s also a cream to rub in and a file to remove dead skin
I use Almond Oil, that I massage into my feet every night when I’m going to bed. Then I put a cute little pair of socks on to keep the oil net to my skin. Once a week I use a foot-file in the morning to get rid of any dead flaky skin. And like many people here, I find it worse in Summer when I wear sandals and flip-flops on my feet.
I use paw paw ointment and this works for me, although I do agree with a previous post regarding thongs/sandals — my feet are always horrible in the summer when I wear them !
Sounds silly, but if you can refrain from wearing things or sandals it helps. I find this to rear it’s ugly head in the summer time when I’m always in thongs but dissapears in the winter.
Give them a good soak and exfoliate them. Also using a foot file is good to remove dead skin. I then like to smother them in moisturiser ( I like vasaline intensive care for dry skin) and put on little moisture socks overnight.
