On clothing I’d use Napisan, but on carpet I’m not sure.

I agree with lots of you here that the olf fashioned Sard or Sunlight soap block are the best for stain removal. I also use it a lot for stains in clothes.

For all stains on my carpet I use warm water and small amount of liquid dishwasher and massage into stain and remove as much as possible with a cloth/rag then I place my steam mop over the stain and gently rub (without mop cloth cover). Takes patience but definitely works.

The good old sards wonder soap always does the trick

Hi try rubbing a little bit of straight eucylptus, let sit for abit then sponge with cool water . Dry with paper towel adding pressure to draw it up. Hope this helps.

Sard wonder soap is great for a variety of stains, both on clothing & carpets.

I would make a solution of bi carb,water and a tiny drop of bleach,elbow grease,either let dry in airway or gently hairdry on low.

I found a web-site quite a while ago that has been an enormous help to me when I’m not sure how to clean different items, and remove all sorts of stains. I dropped a spoonful of tomato-based pasta sauce on some light-brown carpet, and I used the following link to remove the stain. The link is for removing tomato stains from clothing material, but it also worked on carpet. Good luck – I hope it also works for you.

Try Listerine, I use it to get stain out of carpet.

Add ¼ teaspoon mild detergent or carpet shampoo to 1 liter of cold water. Stir the solution in a bowl to mix thoroughly. Moisten a clean cloth liberally with the cleaning solution, and simply lay the cloth over the stain. Then Massage the cloth and then dry.

Sunlight removes tomato based stains from clothing, but difficult to do with carpet. I think Shannon Lush has recommended a UV light pen which works the same as sunlight. I’m not sure where you get them, but I think there is a toy one that works.
