YES! the recommended room temp is between 18-22C. we have an oil fin heater on constantly to keep her room at a consisten temp

My grandson has always had a column heater in his bedroom. It’s always on the lowest setting but is needed throughout winter as it’s just too cold

I now don’t agree with my previous answer. I would only use a heater to heat up the room, but I would definitely turn it off when an adult is not present.

I would say do whatever you would do for yourself.

I’ve put a heater on fifteen minutes before bedtime to take chill off then turned it off.
Or in morning turn on before they get up to take chill off.
My personal opinion is not worth risk. But the above answer of taking cold away for short time every time is ok.

I usually put one in my sons room to warm it up, and then I turn it off before I go to bed

You can always heat the room before bed time and make sure her sleeping bag is warm enough.

I don’t think it is wise, children tend to regulate their own temps and are not as cold as we think, if they get cold they will wake up. put another blanket on their bed, that way if they get too hot they can kick them off themselves

I wouldn’t, I’d just make sure she’s dressed warmly and has a good blanket.

We never did for our son but there’s no harm in you doing it if you feel the need to. Though I would be loathe to change anything if she seems comfortable with the way things are.

I wouldn’t. I’m too scared of fire, but apart from that, my mother always taught me you should actually leave their bedroom window open a crack at night, and that lovely tiny wisp of cold air is supposedly really good for you. I don’t know how well scientifically tested this is! So long as your child is dressed warmly and under lovely warm bedding then she will be fine. If she’s cold and uncomfortable, I’m sure she’ll not be shy about letting you know…?

No definitely not, it will make ur baby sick, going from in a warm room to a normal non heated room is a big temperature drop which will make anyone who uses a heater sick.

Heaters kill the air and can worsen breath problems, if you must use one try to heat the rooms near her and try to let it drift in.

I’d just add more layers to begin with…dont want overheating!

Perhaps a little portable heater will suffice, you don’t want her overheating
