One of ours is and one isn’t. The female isn’t desexed but we plan to, I was worried about getting her desexed when she was young as I didn’t want to tear the stitches.
Unless you’re planning to become a breeder, then yes. It means you won’t be adding to the number of puppies in need of homes (there are so many in shelters or abandoned) and it’s better for the dog’s health.
Hubby & I had a moral issue with desexing our dog, but we knew he would have time with other dogs and didn’t want a surprise to deal with.
Keep in mind, if you do breed, you have to register as a breeder, ensure they all have their vaccinations, worming and microchip done prior to selling.
So, up to you. As cute as puppies are, there are usually plenty of dogs needing adoption everywhhere
