  • Haven’t used or heard h of SNS, but I’m not impressed with the shellac

  • I haven’t tried SNS but recently tried Shellac and my nails were terrible afterwards. Would not do it regularly but ok for an occasion perhaps.

  • If your natural nails split or break easily try Cuticle oil. I had a really bad viral infection that gave me swollen glands, painful bones and my nails also split. The Cuticle Oil stopped my nails from splitting any further quite quickly. I left it too long before getting advice and actually lost the top layer of 3 of my toenails. I went to my regular podiatrist who checked them thoroughly and advised me that they were not infected at all. I had 3 entirely different viruses within a few months and that can impact on your nails. There was a few viruses going around at that time. Apparently some impact on your body if they put stress on your body. The pharmacy said they had also talked to a couple of Doctors to make sure they were “on the right track” (using the lady’s words). They study medicine but not as long as Doctors do.

  • Shellac… I find sns is so bad for my nails afterwards

  • Probably depends on individual preference too.

  • I prefer natural nails maintained at home.
